Section R7-2-1073. Cancellation of Solicitation Before the Due Date and Time

A.      Before the due date and time, a solicitation may be canceled in whole or in part if the school district determines that cancella- tion is advantageous to the school district. The reasons for the cancellation shall be made part of the procurement file.

B.       The school district shall notify in writing all persons to whom the original notice or solicitation was distributed by the school district. Notice shall be in the same manner as the original notice or solicitation, including posting on a designated site on the Internet, as applicable.

C.      The school district shall not open bids or proposals after can- cellation. The school district may discard the bid or proposal 30 days after notice is given in accordance with subsection (B), unless the bidder or offeror requests the bid or proposal be returned.
