Article 1. CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS |
Section R13-1-111. Information Deemed Useful for the Study and Prevention of Crime or the Administration of Criminal Justice

A. An individual or agency that wishes to obtain criminal history records from the Central State Repository for the purpose of research, evaluative or statistical activities, the prevention of crime, or to provide services for the administration of criminal justice shall:
1. Provide a written or electronic request to the Department that specifies the purpose of the study, or how the records will be used to prevent crime or administer criminal jus- tice; and
2. If the request is approved, sign a non-disclosure agree- ment that meets the requirements of A.R.S. § 41- 1750(G)(9) and is prepared and provided by the Depart- ment.
B. The Department shall review the signed non-disclosure agree- ment and authorize the exchange of information in accordance with the agreement.
