A A refinery or importer may determine aromatics content using ASTM D1319-02a (2003) if the result is correlated to ASTM D5769-98 (2004).

B A refinery or importer may determine oxygenate content using ASTM D4815-99 (2004) if the result is correlated to ASTM D5599-00 (2005).

    Footnotes:

    1.  Replace the last sentence in ASTM D6550-00 (2005) Section 1.1 with the following: “The application range is from 0.3 to 25 mass per- cent total olefin, as defined in Section 2263(b), Title 13, California Code of Regulations. If olefin concentrations are not detected, substitute one-half of the detection limit.”

    2.  When determining vapor pressure, the only correlation equation to be used is equation 1 in ASTM D5191-07, Section 14.2, ASTM equa- tion ((.965X)-A).
