  • A.      A complaint may be filed by:

    1.        An individual for whom interpreting is provided,

    2.        A person having a direct or professional interest in the incident specified in the complaint, or

    3.        A person having reason to believe that interpreting was provided by an individual who is not licensed by the Commission and not exempt from licensure under A.R.S.

    § 36-1971(C).

    B.       Complaint requirements. A complainant shall:

    1.        Submit the complaint to the Commission in writing or by videotape. If a complaint is submitted by videotape, the Commission shall have the complaint interpreted and transcribed into English and forward the transcript to the complainant for review and approval;

    2.        Submit the complaint to the Commission within 90 days of the alleged offense; and

    3.        Specify in the complaint the name of the individual com- plained against, date and location of the alleged offense, the action complained about, and the statute or rule alleged to have been violated.

    C.      A complainant may withdraw a complaint at any time by pro- viding notice to the Commission.
