A. The Department shall issue an initial certificate of registration:
1. With a term of one year from date of issuance; or
2. If requested by the applicant, with a term shorter than one year that allows for the Department to conduct annual inspections of all of the applicant’s air ambulances at one time.
B. The Department shall issue a renewal certificate of registration with a term of one year.
C. If an applicant submits an application for renewal as described in R9-25-802 before the expiration date of the current certifi-
cate of registration, the current certificate of registration does not expire until the Department has made a final determination on the application for renewal, as provided in A.R.S. § 41- 1092.11.
D. A certificate of registration is not transferable from one person to another.
E. If there is a change in the ownership of an air ambulance, the new owner shall apply for and obtain a new certificate of reg- istration before operating the air ambulance in this state.
