A. Pupil transportation vehicles manufactured prior to 1978 shall be replaced if the eligible students transported exceeds the stu- dent transportation capacity of the district, excluding the vehi- cle eligible for replacement.

B. Diesel powered pupil transportation vehicles with more than 250,000 miles or more than 10 years of service, gasoline pow- ered pupil transportation vehicles with more than 150,000 miles or more than 10 years of service, and coach buses with more than 500,000 miles or more than 15 years of service, shall be replaced if the eligible students transported exceeds the student transportation capacity of the district, excluding the vehicle eligible for replacement.
