Section R7-2-1407. Revocation of a Contract

A. The Board of Education may issue a Notice of Intent to Revoke a Contract and Notice of Hearing to any contract holder who is alleged to be in violation of the contract and the governing board.
B. Within 10 days of receipt of a Notice of Intent to Revoke a Contract and Notice of Hearing, the governing board shall:
1. Notify the parents or guardians of the students enrolled in the charter school that a Notice of Intent to Revoke a Contract and Notice of Hearing has been received;
2. Hold a public meeting to inform the public and discuss the specific charges outlined in the Notice of Intent to Revoke a Contract;
3. Provide the Board of Education with copies of all corre- spondence and communications used to comply with sub- section (B)(1) above and minutes of the meeting as evidence of compliance with subsection (B)(2) above;
4. Provide the Board of Education with the names and mail- ing addresses of parents or guardians of all students enrolled in the charter school at the time the Notice of Intent to Revoke a Contract and Notice of Hearing was received.
C. Hearings held pursuant to a Notice of Intent to Revoke a Con- tract and Notice of Hearing shall be held in accordance with Sections R7-2-701 through R7-2-709.
