  • A.       Examinations are given weekly or more often as prescribed by the Registrar or the contracted vendor.

    B.       The applicant’s qualifying party must take and pass the appro- priate examination with a passing grade of at least 70% for each examination taken.

    C.       A person is allowed to retake a failed examination subject to the following limitations:

    1.        Waiting 30 calendar days after a first failed attempt,

    2.        Waiting 30 calendar days after a second failed attempt, and

    3.        Waiting 180 calendar days after the third and any subse- quent failed attempts.

    D. Pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 32-1122(A)(4) and 32-1122(F) the Reg- istrar may decide a trade exam is not required where the quali- fying party has been the qualifying party within the preceding five years for a license in good standing in the same classifica- tion in this state, or a classification the Registrar deems com- parable in another state.
