A.      Acupuncture as applied to chiropractic is stimulation of a cer- tain meridian point or points on or near the surface of the body to control and regulate the flow and balance of energy of the body.

B.       Acupuncture includes acupuncture by needle, electrical stimu- lation, ultrasound, acupressure, laser, auricular therapy, or any implement that stimulates acupuncture points.

C.      Acupuncture does not include cupping, moxibustion, or cos- metic therapy.
