Section R4-21-207. Course of Study Approval

The Board approves a course of study that:
1. Includes didactic and clinical training in:
a. Examining, diagnosing, and treating conditions of the human eye and its adnexa; and
b. Prescribing dispensing, and administering pharma- ceutical agents;
2. Includes at least 120 hours of training, at least 12 of which address prescribing, dispensing, and administering oral pharmaceutical agents; and
3. Is provided by an educational institution with an accred- ited optometry program.
