  • A.      All prospective applicants of a long-term care insurance policy or certificate shall receive a long-term care shopper’s guide approved by the Director. This requirement may be satisfied by delivery of the current edition of the long-term care shop- per’s guide in the format developed by the National Associa- tion of Insurance Commissioners.

    1.        In the case of insurance producer solicitation, an insur- ance producer shall deliver the shopper’s guide before presenting an application or enrollment form.

    2.        In the case of direct response solicitations, the insurer shall provide the shopper’s guide with any application or enrollment form.

    B.       A prospective applicant for a life insurance policy or rider con- taining accelerated long-term care benefits is not required to receive the guide described in subsection A, but shall receive the policy summary required under A.R.S. § 20-1691.06.
