A. If the respondent requests an informal settlement conference, the informal settlement conference shall be held within 15 days after the Commission receives the request. A request for an informal settlement conference shall be in writing and must be filed with the Commission no later than 20 days before the hearing date. A person with the authority to act on behalf of the Commission must represent the Commission at the confer- ence. The AAG shall attend the settlement conference, but

shall not be the individual authorized to act on behalf of the Commission.

B. The Commission representative shall notify the appellant in
