Section R19-2-313. Leases

A. The lessee of a greyhound shall file a copy of the Uniform Greyhound Certificate of Lease agreement with the Depart- ment. The lease agreement shall include:
1. The name of the greyhound,
2. The name and address of the owner,
3. The name and address of the lessee,
4. The kennel name of each party, and
5. The terms of the lease.
B. A corporation with more than 10 stockholders who are the reg- istered or beneficial owners of stock or membership in the cor- poration may not lease a greyhound owned or controlled by it to any person or partnership for racing purposes.
C. The Department shall not grant an owner’s license to a lessee of a corporation described in subsection (B).
D. A corporation leasing greyhounds for racing purposes in this state, shall file with the Department, upon request, a report listing the stockholders and members, as well as additional business information the Department may specify. More than one owner may be indicated on the program by the use of the name of one owner and the phrase “et al”.
