Section R18-12-102. Applicability

A.      Owners and operators. As provided in A.R.S. § 49-1016(A), the responsibilities of this Chapter, unless indicated otherwise, are imposed on persons who are the owner or the operator of an UST. If the owner and operator of an UST are separate per- sons, only one person is required to discharge any specific responsibility. Both persons are liable in the event of noncom- pliance.

B.       Persons in possession or control of property. The requirements of this Chapter are applicable to a person acting under the pro- visions of A.R.S. § 49-1016(C).

C.      No supersedence. Nothing in this Chapter supersedes the requirements of the following:

1.        A court of competent jurisdiction,

2.        An order of the Director under A.R.S. § 49-1013.
