Section R17-7-701. Definitions

The following definitions apply to this Article unless otherwise specified:

“Driver license training provider” means a business enterprise conducted by an individual, association, partnership, or corpo- ration that educates and trains persons, either practically or theoretically, or both, to operate or drive motor vehicles; that prepares applicants for an examination given by the state for a driver license or instruction permit; and that charges a consid- eration or tuition for these services.

“Minimum professional training standards” means the Depart- ment’s approved basic content of material to be presented to and understood by the student through evaluation.
