Section R17-6-408. Continuous Travel

A. Except as provided under R17-6-404, a permittee or driver of an oversize or overweight special permitted vehicle is eligible for continuous travel under this Section if the vehicle or vehi- cle and load combination does not exceed any of the following

E. The Department may approve night transport under a class C special permit for a vehicle and load combination exceeding the dimensions provided under subsection (A) upon determin- ing the exception to be in the best interest of public safety.
