Section R17-6-404. Metropolitan Curfew Transport Restriction

A. Unless otherwise provided under this Article, this Section shall apply as provided under subsections (B) and (C) to a spe- cial permitted vehicle or load that exceeds 10 feet in width, but does not exceed any of the following dimensions:
1. 16 feet in height;
2. 3 feet in length of front overhang;
3. 10 feet in length of rear overhang;
4. 120 feet in overall length; or
A. A driver of an oversize or overweight vehicle or load shall not exceed the lower maximum speed determined by either of the
5. 250,000 pounds.
B. A permittee or driver
of a special permitted vehicle or load
following:
1. A speed limit printed on an issued permit, or
2. A highway posted vehicle-specific speed limit.
B. The Department may order an alternative speed restriction to
described under subsection (A) may transport on a Monday
through Friday during curfew hours subject to the following routes and restrictions:
