Section R14-2-504. Minimum customer information requirements

A.      Information for residential customers

1.        Each utility shall make available upon customer request not later than 60 days from the date of request a concise summary of the rate schedule applied for by such cus- tomer. The summary shall include the following:

a.         The charges for basic service and incremental ancil- lary services requested by the applicant.

2.        In addition, a utility shall make available upon customer request not later than 60 days from date of service com- mencement a concise summary of the utility’s tariffs or the Commission’s rules and regulations concerning:

a.         Deposits

b.        Terminations of service

c.         Billing and collection

d.        Complaint handling.

B.       Information required due to changes in tariffs

1.        Each utility shall transmit to affected customers by the most economic means available a concise summary of any change in the utility’s tariffs affecting those custom- ers.

2.        This information shall be transmitted to the affected cus- tomer within 60 days of the effective date of the change.
