Section R14-2-1807. Manufacturing Partial Credit

A. An Affected Utility may acquire Renewable Energy Credits to apply to the non-distributed portion of its Annual Renewable Energy Requirement if it or its affiliate owns or makes a sig- nificant investment in any solar electric manufacturing plant located in Arizona or if it or its affiliate provides incentives to a manufacturer of solar electric products to locate a manufac- turing facility in Arizona.
B. The Renewable Energy Credits shall be equal to the nameplate capacity of the solar electric generators produced and sold in a calendar year times 2,190 hours, which approximates a 25 per- cent capacity factor.
C. Extra credit multipliers shall not apply to Renewable Energy Credits created by this Section.
