Section R12-1-509. Surveillance

During each radiographic operation, a radiographer or the radiogra- pher’s assistant, as permitted by R12-1-510, shall maintain continu- ous direct visual surveillance of the operation to protect against unauthorized entry into a high radiation area, except at permanent radiographic installations where all entrances are locked and the licensee is in compliance with R12-1-539.
